Sven Westendorp was shot dead in his home in Amsterdam-Slotervaart on the morning of August 12 and died from his injuries five days later.
Justice officials have put up a reward of €15,000 for information leading to the killer, but police say many people in Westendorp’s circle have refused to talk to them.
Westendorp was a leading member of Ajax’s hardcore supporters and is rumoured to have been involved in drug dealing.
Investigators are looking into a number of underworld conflicts which he is suspected of being involved in as they try to establish a motive for the killing.
A number of Ajax hooligans have been linked to an ongoing drugs case, but police have declined to say if Westendorp’s death was related to the drugs network.
